Maria quietly looked up at the sky, looked at the trees around her, and the little flowers starting to grow. "Wow," she whispered taking it all in. A slight breeze picked up her hair lightly and seemed to twirl it around. Maria smiled with pure joy, it was so beautiful out here! It felt like something she had always wanted to see, but had never gotten a chance to... She quietly turned around and felt the wind blow a few of the feathers from her wings away a little.

Iis quietly peeked over a rock that was in her way of seeing Espio and Sapfire. They had no idea she was eavesdropping on their conversation but it was obvious that Sapfire didn't have a single idea that Iris knew what Sapfire was talking about. "She shouldn't leave her diary where anyone can find it if she doesn't want me to read it." Iris thought and smiled.
"And why do you want me to keep an eye on Iris?" Espio's voice brought her back to the conversation in front of her.
